Alta's Mayor Sondak Responds to the EIS

The high cost, small decrease in traffic, insufficient analysis concerning climate change, and the risk of exceeding carrying capacity are concerning. Mayor Sondak suggests pursuing a phased approach.

Salt Lake County Mayor Wilson and Council Member Bradley respond to UDOT

UDOT needs to reflect on the project purpose - “an integrated transportation system that improves the reliability, mobility and safety for all users on S.R. 210 from Fort Union Boulevard through the Town of Alta” - and pursue an option that meets that. We prefer the Bus Alternative but with a phased approach.
